Alexey Viktorovich Zimakov was born on January 3, 1971. in the Siberian city of Tomsk. He is an outstanding Russian guitarist. A brilliant performer, an amazing virtuoso. It has extraordinary musicality, inaccessible technique and clean performance. Received recognition in Russia and abroad. In his 20s, he became a laureate of prestigious national and international competitions. This is a rare case of such an early ascent of a national guitarist to the Olympus of musical art. At the peak of his fame, he was the only one to achieve the virtuoso performance of some incredibly complex pieces. When Alexei was 16 years old, he impressed the music community with his space performance technique in his own arrangement of virtuoso music.
He achieved a new sound of a guitar close to orchestral, comparable to it. Is it not a miracle that at such an early age he brilliantly performed in his own interpretation, arrangements for guitar and piano, the Campanella rondo finale and the Second Paganini violin concert !!! The recording of this wonderful concert was shown on Tomsk television in the late 80s … His father, Viktor Ivanovich, began to teach Alexei how to play the guitar. Tell me honestly, you would probably be a little surprised if someone would tell you that the first teacher of Alexei was the commander of a nuclear submarine of the Russian naval forces. But the inconsolable mother could not cope with this blow. She did not utter a word, did not cry, remaining indifferent to everything. Her husband consoled, exhorted, surrounding with care and tenderness, offered to eat or at least drink water. The woman did not react to anything and slowly faded away. Driven by a sense of duty, Franz Grubber came to the church that Christmas party for the kids that Christmas evening.
